Wonderful!! Great news. Congrats and happy healing!

surgery. I went on antibiotics Monday night and it appears much better already.

My doctor looked at the incision today and said that the infection is

superficial most likely a reaction to the stitches underneath. This very same

thing happened 30 years ago with my C Section so I'm not surprised. He gave me a

thumbs up and said I was doing fantastic and can resume my cardio either riding

the bike or walking on an incline, or swimming in my pool. He also encouraged me

to get back into my weight lifting as he said it would only speed up my

recovery. I could not be more thrilled and now with the infection subsiding, I

have very little pain left so I'm off the pain meds.

, this is just my uneducated opinion, but I don't think that I would be

getting

in the pool if I had that open infection.......You did say that it had

broken out on the

surface; didn't you? BARB in Florida

A chlorinated pool would act as an disinfectant I would think.

The doctor said the pool isn't a problem at all, he actually encouraged me to

swim. The infection now is scabbed over and superficial in his words. He said to

keep it clean with hydrogen peroxide but it wasn't that bad right now.

You're only given a little spark of madness. You mustn't lose it.
