Re: yoga after hip replacement

I was told by both my doctor and PT that certain moves in yoga may cause

problems. I'm not sure what type of yoga you are doing but most definitely

it can put strain on both the muscles in that area as well as the joints. If

you can contact your PT who worked with you, I'm certain they would be able

to offer their input.

Thanks . I am definitely putting yoga on hold until I am sure that it is

ok. I know that the muscles around the hip are very tight and I need to

stretch them but I'm not taking any chances with this hip.
