Guest guest
HI,,,,my pt says I will get more relief six weeks out. im on a stationary bike now and just can make a full rotation. Im four weeks out ...the pain is better then it was. Having problems turning sideways when im trying to sleep at nite. It wakes me up and I end up in the recliner. I miss driving but know my right leg will not respond fast enough to hit the brake. I do hope the pain slows down at six weeks. But will it be just like new in a year...... or will I still have a limp and click? thanks for listening, linda in montana From: gr8t_northwest Sent: Saturday, February 12, 2011 12:06 PM Joint Replacement Subject: when? My PT says that most people get a " pain breakthrough " somewhere around 4 - 6 weeks after sugery when the pain is greatly reduced. Have you guys experienced that time frame or is it a bit further out after TKR? (I'm looking forward to a relief from the constant pain) - Washington
