Our Gov't made Vicks reduce its product to 5% Camphor. At half strength it did not cure my fungus problem. I tried using it for six months. I heard that you can get bootlegged Camphor from Asian stores if they trust you are not the police. Chinese have another name for Camphor as they use it for more things than toenail fungus. Maybe other countries are not restricted to US regulations. I heard it was banned to stop illegal drug makers from using Camphor. I had to read up on the topic of gout and uric acid for a family member recently and i recall reading nothing about yeast ( as you mentioned) but that uric acid is made by one of our body enzyme. There is a standing offer to pay a reward to anyone who can show how a human can make Uric acid. No one has collected that reward. I believe the reward is $100,000.00. Guest guest
Medical products imported legally into the US are subject to FDA regulations. The Chinese have an equivalent under the name " Tiger Balm " , but I don't know the relative proportions of the ingredients. Since it's considered an " alternative medicine " product, I don't think it's regulated as strictly as Vicks, which is classed as a pharmaceutical. If you have a local Chinatown, try getting Tiger Balm from one of the Chinese apothacaries. - " Double Hippie " RTHR-2003; LTHR-2004 From: Joint Replacement [mailto:Joint Replacement ] On Behalf Of SherryH Sent: Friday, September 16, 2011 8:48 AM Joint Replacement Subject: Re: cutting toe nails ( off topic-uric acid) Oil of oregano might help with the fungus. > > > > In a message dated 9/14/2011 7:08:33 A.M. According to Doug Kaufman on Know The Cause - What causes Uric Acid? " Several species of fungus produce both uric acid and the toxin Allonan, a component of which is oxalic acid, a corrosive cleaning agent. Even in small doses, Allonan induces diabetes in lab. animals. " Next up is Tigers Balm if I can find it. Brickey
