Guest guest
Hi there, I have had both hips replaced and am looking at a knee replacement. I asked my Dr how painful is was and his response was: more painful than the hip, but less painful than the back fusion...yes, I've had two of those also, one lumbar, one cervical. Can anyone add anything to this??? Any help is appreciated.
Guest guest
Hi all, I don't remember that much pain after the first week or so with my spinal fusion. I had T10-L5 done. I was week from anemia when I came home from that surgery. I just had my knee done in Oct 2010 and I think the pain in the knee lasted for a longer period of time with the PT and all. I did wait almost 8 years to have the knee done partly because I had just had the fusion done on my back but I can now say I am very happy I had the knee done. I am down to just taking one aspirin a day and I have much gained much strength in that leg because my real knee was giving out from time to time.
