Guest guest
Hi guys I had my surgery last week and what an experience it has been! Doc wasn't too thrilled with doing it, saying my level of arthritis was underwhelming but when he got in there he realized there was no joint space left and told me I made the right decision. I had issues with things like nausea and low blood pressure but I was in the hospital for only 3 days, 2 nights. Things weren't much better at home until I stopped taking the pain meds & stool softeners. I have begun my PT and have already noticed that I am able to lift my leg more than before. Doc used a posterior approach and my scar is not more than 4 inches long. I am already down to using a cane. I borrowed a walker but never used it! I haven't ventured outside yet, that still scares me a little. I'm sure I'm missing a lot of info so don't hesitate to ask questions.
