Hi ,

There is a liver flushing forum at http://curezone.com/forums/f.asp?

f=447

If you're interested you can have a browse and read other peoples

experiences. I know someone who's flushed and removed stones

following the protocol.

Cheers, Anne.

Hi ,

If you want to do the flush I would work with someone who knows well

how to do it; for instance, a chiropractor or Naturaopath. Where I

used to live there were a few chiropractos who specialized in the

procedure using Xrays to monitor as well as certain manipulations to

aid in the passage of the stones. I know two people personally who had

it done and were very pleased with the results (the stones actually

passing). If the stones are small and you don't need surgery I would

definitely try to keep your gallbladder. I certainly would have had I

been in your situation; unfortunately, the only option for me was

surgery. And, Yes, I was extremely ill with pain in the upper right

quadrant radiating to the back and had great difficulty digesting oily

substances with belching and extreme pain following. Toward the end,

right before the surgery, I had to sleep almost sitting up because of

pain and digestive problems whenever I would lie flat.

All the best with whatever you decide.

Is there some easy way of distinguishing between gall bladder pain and

liver pain? Would liver pain radiate to the back? (I'll admit I

haven't googled this yet.)

Re: gallstones

Jim, thank you for posting the information on salt, bile and gallstones. I was

aware that there was a process to dissolve them but never understood the

particulars. The don't advertise such things much. Again I thank you foryour

explicit instructions; they will be used to help my wife who has had this

problem for years. Good evening, Mel

Include more sodium foods in your diet. A google search should

provide you a list of good food sources for the mineral. I'm not

suggesting you take more table salt, but more sodium foods.

A primary salt in bile is sodium salts. When the body needs sodium it

takes it from the bile if it can't find from another source.

Water follows sodium. When the body takes some sodium from the bile,

some of the water in the bile goes with it. What is left is a

thicker, more cholesterol concentrated bile. When the bile thickens

it is the medium in which gallstones can form.

One role that Bile plays in digestion is that it helps to emulsify the

fats in what we eat. Now you know why you've had problems with

digesting fats.

So, eat more sodium foods so that the body does not have to take it

from the bile. In time, as the bile returns to normal, the gallstones

will dissolve. When bile production improves, include some fats in

your diet so that you use the bile that's being produced. Healthy

fats. The body needs them too.

All the best,

Jim

If you can's find a list of sodium foods I've got a list of the foods

that Bernard Jensen recommended in the article on Sodium at
