Global autism Project is traveling the world empowering families

with knowledge about autism. Our vision is to provide parents with

the same knowledge and skills that their child's providers have. We

strive to provide this service using the most cost effective emans,

so that this powerful information is accessible to as many families

as possible.

Fortunately we are able to provide 10 full scholarships for each

workshop and 20 partial scholarships for each workshop.

Global Autism Porject is coming to Cleveland State University (Main

Classroom 101) from 9 am -2 pm on the following dates:

June 18: Effective Behavior Management in the Home and Community

July 2: How to Elicit Communication in the Home and Community

July 16:Generalization and the Natural Environment

The format is an intensive lecture, small group exercises,

individual exercises, and practical hoemwork application aimed at

parents. Each of the lectures is comprehensive an dincludes a carry-

over fromt eh previous workshop.

We would greatly apprecaite your assistance in dissemnating this

information to families that could benefit from these workshops.

althoug the curriculum is directed towards parents we do invite

interested teachers and service providers to attend.

To those parents who are either using behavioral strategies with

their children or would like to begin utilizing such strategies with

their children, this would be a good program for you. I attended the

first workshop given on Saturday, June 4, 2005 and plan on attending

the remaining three. As noted in Ms. Escorpizo's message, there are

scholarships available for these workshops. If you haven't already

signed up, I encourage you to sign up for one or all of the remaining

three.
