Guest guest
Ugh, today is the pits I am trying not to do anything because it hurts to move period. Everytime I get into a sit up position to get up or even move the leg a little bit I feel sharp, poking/stabbing pains not quite in the groin area but begins in the upper bikini line and down towards the groin. I am at the point of pulling my hair out I could try to call my surgeon again but his secetary says that she is still waiting for the hip aspiration date from whomever. I have been at my local er so much since September they don't even bother to check it anymore just give me a shot for the pain and tells me to make an appointment with my family doctor. Well I did make an appointment with my family doctor (for something else) and guess what I made it two weeks ago and the earliest I can see him is the first week of March. I am just so tired of this stuff my family doctor did give me anti-depressants and I did try them for like two weeks but I kept getting the worst headaches from them. I hardly get headaches so this was not fun. So yeah I know I have weepy days when I am an emotional wreck but I am 31 year old women who has been pratically bed ridden off and on for the past ten or so years. I haven't even had the chance to hold hands with a guy never mind date or anything and my goal is to have one or two children before I am 38. But first I need this hip thing fixed, I am trying to explain it to the doctors but they just don't seem to get it or something grrr. So should I hound my surgeon's office again tomorrow (since he closes in about an hour here) or just wait until the hip possibly pops out (with ten screws in it that might be a little difficult) or whatever. I am just tried of lying in bed you know because I try to keep away from the pain killers as much as I can ecause well I honestly hate taking pills. So yup any advice would be great. Thanks for allowing me to rant. Left hip replaced for the second time July 2009. Toronto ~Contessica
