Hey,

I live in WA state and just got a fill today. We have a lot of Awesome Doctors that will Fill patients banded in Mexico. I had mine done with fluoroscopy today for $175. There are places that range from $150 to $350. This was my 3rd fill and I am 25 lbs away from my goal. It could be my last??? If not, I don't think $175 is too much to pay for another fill. I can't tell you how much money I have wasted on diet trends/fads/pills/etc!!! This is the last diet I will ever have to be on. It is a lifestyle change using a wonderful tool, the band.

First of all...this is for YOU, not him...if he really loves you, he will support you in whatever you decide is best for YOUR health. My husband said the same thing to start with, but I convinced him that I would live a lot longer and have a much better quality of life if I did this, and so far, I DO!! I feel better than I have in 20 yrs...and look better than I have in at least 17~ Slippage is very rare and not usually a big issue, and you don't have to go back to Mexico for your fills. There are more fill dr's all over the US all the time. I also, believe in everything and everyone else has said, he is just a finance not even your husband, make this choice for you and not for what someone else wants you to do. Ditto, Ditto, Ditto to all of you!

There is a time and place in all of our lives where we have to decide that we are important. We have to love ourselves and take care of ourselves. No one else can do that for us.

I know that if you take a step back from everything and really look at what you want, you will see this is very small, but huge. The surgery is a breeze, a very small thing. The effects of the surgery can change your whole life, a huge thing.

I know when I take care of and love myself I am a much better wife and Mother. I am a more fulfilled happier person. Your fiancé should see that this is important to you and it will make your relationship better. If he is only thinking about himself, RED FLAG!!!! This could be the father of your children, the person you spend the rest of your life with. He should be thrilled you have this chance instead of trying to convince you otherwise. I say you take charge and do this for yourself. Very likely with in the next year you will be a stronger, happier woman. I know many of us wish we would have done this years ago and for a million dollars wouldn't give back our bands. Dr Aceves has given many of us a new lease on life. Join the family, you won't regret it!

There are some things that can be done. I have had a round of three epidural steroid injections. They reduced my pain about 70% and the relief lasted a little over a year. Now I am getting ready to have the injections again. They are a bit painful when you get them and a bit inconvenient (a half day in the hospital and a whole day off work for each one) but they are SO worth it. There are new things developing all the time. Recently a newer, less invasive surgery has been FDA approved for lumbar stenosis. It is called X-Stop - you should be able to find info on it by googling it. I have cervical stenosis, so this is not approved for my case, but I am hopeful that by getting the injections and postponing the need for surgery this or something else for cervical will come along. My neurosurgeon agrees with me. Good luck!allwerasking

I think I need less thyroid meds which just seems so bizarre. Boy was I feeling fried today, and I even went on a date, yikes. Tomorrow I will do the 50mg iodine and cut Armour in half. I can't do tests, I hate them

the date went well! I was going to cancell but then I got an email that he would be waiting for me so I had to show up!

I just feel like I have too much thyroid hormone in me! some info somewhere says that thyroid meds can be reduced when on Iodoral, so I can testify that it is working. I have 120mg tabs Armour so I will try taking one instead of two. I have a bunch more men to meet No never felt overmedicated b4.

I wasn't falling asleep! my heart was pounding about 100beats per minute and I felt frazzled and fried, my hair hurt. I felt like a zombie but I think he liked me LOL.

I just had a #@$%^ TSH test just b4 I started Iodoral. .06 TSH, free T3 over range and free T4 at tippy top. I had taken 240mg Armour b4 test b/c I didn't know she would want me to do it.

I had experiences with children books and tapes. But I have not

practice with it for while. But someone putted me to try children

book with tape at christmas time that I tried with children at ages 2

to turn pages. But I had no idea or clue how i did well with some of

books first but then later I learned something of sounds to turn

pages that have beeps sounds, rings, else.. I kept tried with it

between 2 to 5 yrs old. But sometimes they help me with page or

something if i am not on right page but some books with tapes are too

fast and too low that does not get sound page attention to make sound

like beep. But few books I heard when tape story is talking then

stop for few second to turn page then heard start sentence talking

again that how I learned to listen. So some of children book with

tapes are easy and some are hard so depends on these

stories,companies or who make story book. But people who been seen me

try book with tapes with children love me to do it and some children

3 to 5 yrs are smart and remember and sometimes they want me to do

book with tape to get me to listen and pay attention to them while

children learn to read and listen to something. So children books and

tapes are good to practice and if you have children that you may want

to do with them too. And also I have leapfrog book but leapfrog book

are difficult for me because of confused because it have

games,activities,songs and read story. But i do sometimes with

children with leapfrog book when children and I read together since i

could not do speech or talk but mostly I only know say no,stop, few

basic words with my voice. But I tried fisher price read with me DVD

and found out that fisher price read with me dvd is different from tv

because fisher price read with me dvd is follow the word and point to

listen every words to follow the highlight to listen words whole

sentence with picture plays and they have a games but games are hard

to learn but practice with it. But one problems about fisher price

read with me dvd that you must have the same combination model name

and number codes dvd players to go with fisher price read with me dvd

with remote. But even stores never tell you what brands,models, and

number of dvd players that must go in guidebook and the store keep it

secret and get you to buy these fisher price read with me dvd that

not know about dvd player models. But I tried first with disney

player and it did not work out then found out that was not match so I

had to buy different dvd player after i recieved fisher price read

with me dvd kit and manual book with brands and codes then I searched

long time online to find ones to go with and it was hard to find ones

then finally i got the right one that was think it would work with

new dvd player and got it work so i can have fisher price read with

and people being called the company about problems when i called the

dont know if laptable computer would work out for me and it would

allow me to take it anywhere to practice or show someone about

into laptable but do not know if active key would work on me with

laptable since I already installed on my big computer with active

key. But my brother said that microsoft company rules must have

active keys if is xp window or some of windows that why my brother do

nto like active keys because if something happens to the computer and

it is impossible. I do not know how school would do too much

expensive with children education if use too many computers. So it

does not make senses about active key but we have no choice about it

about micosoft company. Especially if you do not have speech therapy

To me and in my experience since learning about having Hep C was to look at clearing my mind of the normal fears and concerns that normally come with such news. Everyone entertains the "what if syndrome." People can become immobilized by this. It depresses, in some cases, a person natural immune abilities. Just like stress it can open the door to other health related difficulties.

So what I would suggest first is to come to real terms with the condition. Get your mind under control and look as clearly at your fears as you can. Once you do, then healing is much more possible.

I have just found out my docs want to treat my hep c which i found out i had in 2004. My big question is should i do it???? I read all info on hep treatments, and side affects, my big thing is the sickness, i am a para and have been one for 32 years , so you see may be harder on me than some. But who knows. I'm trying to find some sort of support and info on should I . I'm not a drinker, nor smoker, really never been sick, found about hep when removed my gallbladder in 2004, if it hadn't been for that they would have never known, so then what.
