I thought you weren't supposed to use arnica if the skin was broken.

I would have given arnica homeopathically

Upset stomsch is a common side effect of Laetrile when ingested orally.

Perhaps you could try administering the IV injectable form of Laetrile (it

is more effective delivery method). If that is not possible, then Laetrile

should be taken with meal, that will cause less upset stomach. Also break

up the daily dosage so that one will take it several times a day (with food)

rather than taking large doses at once.

Hi Iva,

Yes, go to the website and in the my groups section click on

each list that you want to change your subscription status too. Choose

unsubscribe, then be sure to hit save options so it works.

I have a question too, dear Karma. I can't remember what my account address

was with egroups and so am having trouble looking up my groups I had. I set

up with an account with but it won't let me get to my groups without

my old address. I really hate to sound dumb but oh well, if you can steer

me in the right direction I would really appreciate it.

Karma,

I give up! Is there anyway you can unsubscribe me from these groups?

Tonight I got

63 e-mails because I get them in triplicate. I have gone to the site who

tells me

I have to registar with them. I couldn't remember my password with them so

asked them to

send it to me which they never did. When I try to sign up for a new ID they

insist on an

alternate e-mail which I don't have. I don't know what else to do.

You can find a list of surgeons on Boasten's website.

www.myminigastricbypass.com

As an FYI, Dr. O'Brien in Sioux Fall, SD, is now only doing patients

from his area because he feels they have to be close by to do proper

followup care.

Sandy,

That sounds to me like my old acid reflux attacks....I used to have them

regularly and they were awful!

You don't say what you had for dinner, but maybe it was something that just

didn't sit well or maybe you had a touch of sun stroke even?

If it only happens once, I wouldn't worry too much. I bet the gang has a lot

of good info for you, but I just wanted to say I hope this is just that and

an isolated instance as well.

Hi Sandy, Thishas happened to me only once but it was after going to

bed immediately after eating. I'll NEVER do that again. I did the

same thing you did to get relief. Then I took prilosec and my

carafate for a week for safe measure. Now I sleep propped up on two

pillows everynight for " fear " of a repeat performance, although I

really feel it was caused from laying down immediately. Here's hoping

it was a once time thing for you too!

> Dear Group,

> I had a terrifying ordeal today, and I wanted to get help from

the group. I spent about 3 hours at Va. Beach today and when I came

home, I made dinner. After 3-4 bites, I realized I was just too

tired to eat. I fell asleep on the couch on my stomach, a position I

like. About 2 hours later, I awoke gasping for breath. I had a

terrible burning in my throat and could barely breathe. I tried to

throw up (something I just don't do), but nothing really came up. I

tried a few sips of carafate, but still felt bad. Then I remembered

reading in some other posts to drink something carbonated. After a

few sips of coke, I began to feel better. Over the course of the

next 3-4 hours, I probably drank 12 oz. This was the first

carbonated drink I have consumed in more than a sip or two, since

surgery 14 months ago. When I finally went to bed, I slept propped

up on a few pillows. My question is, is the bile sitting ready to

attack again? Was it something I ate that prompted this, or maybe

the position I slept in? Should I have done something else for it?

I welcome any and all help!!

If you had an insurance letter it should be on it.

I don't think that there is a specific code for the MGB. That may be why

the RNY code may have been used, and hence some of the " trouble " . I hope I

am not speaking out of turn. There are many new procedures in dentistry and

we just have to use old codes that are close until the ADA publishes new CDT

terminology which [might be] more accurate. I think that the ADA " meets "

every 3 to 5 years to come up with new codes for new procedures. If the MGB

was not performed until 1997 and the " powers-that-be " did not come up with a

code specific to the MGB after that, then the closest code would be

appropriate.

In my opinion (and there are many), this is a decision and a process

only you can make for yourself. If you are taking care of yourself and

you are feeling well, you have nothing to complain about. If you are

symptomatic, treat the symptoms as best you can and try to avoid

toxic " treatments " as much as possible. If HIV does not lead to AIDS, all

*this* (define " this " ?) may not be necessary, at least not to save your

life. Perhaps there is another motive, another agenda. Again, there are

many opinions about that, too. Learn as much as you can, get support

where you can, and think for yourself as much as you can. After all, it's

your life, and your loved ones who are affected by each and every

decision you make. There is no need to shorten your lifespan

unnecessarily because some professional refuses to question

authority. There are far too many questions to go lockstep into that

grave, if you ask me. If you're feeling well, celebrate! (In a healthy way,

of course.) Then stay focused on what there is to learn, and pay

attention to your body for symptoms. It will certainly be a learning

process no matter what you do.

It's not necessary regarding " AIDS. " Just staying away from doctors should

suffice. It is necessary if you want to escape the fate of the average

American: obesity, chronic illness, premature aging and death, not-to-mention

the hundreds of thousands of dollars in medical care and blackmail -- I mean

" health " insurance.

But give up sex? I think nourishing sex is part of a healthy existence. Other

than that, it sounds like what you doing is health insurance.
