Needing new knee

I have been told that I need a new knee. My right knee is suffering from

osteoarthritis. I don't know at this point if I need a full replacement or can

get by with a partial.

What I need help with is figuring out how to find a good surgeon. I've searched

using google and have asked friends. But there doesn't seem to be consensus of

how to find a good surgeon.

What is your definition of a good surgeon and how did you find him/her?

Thanks,

Clifford

Clifford,  Where do you live?  Maybe someone on the list has experience with a

surgeon near you.

in TX
