Absolutely. Not a risk worth taking in my opinion., its not just joints that

need cover, people with pace makers any one with something artificial in

their body have to have antibiotics..

its a foreign material no matter how long its been inside you., and could

potentially become infected with something as simple as a pricked finger

from a rose bush.

If this did ever happen to me, I hope it goes to my Lap Band and not my

joints.

I hope that our friends in the UK are reading this and calling their OS's in the

morning. I really am shocked that they have never been told this.

it doesn't surprise me with the experience I had before with pain meds.
