Guest guest
I am new to this group and have some questions. My husband just had Total Hip Replacement this last Tuesday and has lots of questions concerning the recovery period. He is doing very well. Can weight bear nicely and wants to know, after 5 days since surgery, how far and often do most people who are doing well with minimal pain, walk. I told him this group would know the answer to that question. He uses a walker, is 63 yrs old, and was " tearing up the halls " at the hospital (according to PT at the hospital) doing great. He wants to go back to his part time work already, and its only 5 days, with about 5 weeks to go until that. He needs some reassurance. Any answers would be appreciated by him. Thanks all.
