If you think your wound is infected, GOinto the MD's office so that they can see

the wound and get you on the appropriate antibiotics.  They may also want to

culture the wound because the goal would be to get you on the CORRECT one.  Some

antibiotics are general and cover MOST infections but others cover specific

ones.  You want to know that the right one is being prescribed and helping to do

the job.  Otherwise, you can delay the healing process...
