Guest guest
Technically they are a fruit. Like i posted before, there are tons of ways to use avocado other than Guacamole! Other than Guac, my favorite is on salad. they give salad a nice full flavor and the oils are great. Sylvia > I'm in MN. I don't think it's very big here, it's used in dips but that's all I'd ever even heard about before. > I'd never bought one and I can't think of a single family member who has ever bought one. I'm down here in the desert southwest, where avocados are very popular. Guacamole, an avocado salad is very popular, and they sell it in the store in tubs. If you can't find a good avocado, you can get Guacamole in the deli in a tub, or in the freezer section. Guacamole is primarily mashed avocado, with a little bit of diced onion, jalepeno pepper, and lemon, approximately. > > Peace, > Cathie
