after effects of surgery- dizzy/ tinnitus

hello i have an operation prob in 6 weeks or so for the cholsteatoma

and am very scared never had any surgery and wanted to know people's

experience of before and after surgery where you panicky afterwards

when coming round this does bother me as have had a lot of panic

attacks in the past and where you dizzy? sick? in a lot of pain? what

is all the packing like? itchy? uncomfortable ? can you hear anything/

my hearing is in the ear but prob about 60% depending on my tinnitus

and fluid in there at the time. does tinnitus get any better for some

people either?

any advice would be good many thanks and good luck to all those with
