Sara,

My name is Angie, me and my son Cody both have ctoma. Neither one of us ever had the drainage that alot of people talk about. Cody's was found after years of chronic ear infection, and being closely monitered by a new Dr. Mine was found by the same Dr. when I went in with allergy and sinus problems. I had lost hearing, I thought due to allergies, and was having headaches.

Sara,

I am new to the group. I was diagnosed about three weeks ago with c-toma.

Surgery coming up on April 4. The only symptoms I have had are pressure or

full feeling in the ear and constant hissing. I have never had drainage or

liquid.

liquid/drainage in ear

Hello,

Has anyone who has ever been diagnosed with c-toma NOT

have liquid or drainage in the infected ear?

I have bilateral cholesteatoma. Up until about 2

weeks ago I had no drainage or liquid. I still have

no liquid, just some waxy drainage.

Sara,

I was diagnosed for c-toma with a dry ear, no infection. I did have

pressure, headache and diziness. I had a hunch so I told the doctor

it could be a re-occurance of c-toma before he looked in my ear.
