Guest guest
My 20 year old daughter has been diagnosed with a c-toma in each ear the Left ear is the worst of the 2 They have operated twice but still find more tumor each time, her general practioner sent her to an ent where she had the first two surgeries after the second one the ent admitted that this job was more than he could handle and now since she has had to drop out of shcool for the moment and has trouble holding a full time job due to hearing and dizziness, she is no longer excepted on my insurance. We are now told by the new surgeon that it is going to take months to find her the financial help she needs to complete these operations , the silly thing is we are not a completly destitute family both me and my husband are middle class workers who make enough to get by We have paid for her first two operations, but money is getting tight. All the help we have found for her with these operations, you have to be considered at a poverty level to get help. The medicaid office told my daughter she would have to be pregnant to get help there. I think it is a crying shame for a smart 20 year old that was working and going to college is told she has to be pregnant to get help with a operation , or destitue. Where do the middle class families go for help. I want my daughter to go back to school and live her dreams. Any advice will be helpful Thanks from a very frustrated Mom
