Would like some information about the Mayo Clinic

Hello everyone. I am so glad to have found this site,there is so much

good information. I have had ctoma removed from my right ear and lost

the three small bones and all the bone around my facial nerve, I have

never had any numbness,paralasis or anything. I have been in surgery 4

times since to have grafting done and they cannot get a hole in my

eardrum cleaned out to stay dry and the grafting to work. I have to go

again. Meanwhile my ent has discovered ctoma in my left ear. Well Iam

woried because I have little hearing in my right ear as it is, so now

to have the left one done is scary. Has anyone ever gone to the Mayo

Clinic in Minnestoa or Arizona? Would love to hear your story if

anyone had checked it out. THank you

If you have a good or well known Otologist I don't see

a benefit to going to the Mayo for C-toma unless your

from that area. As far as I know they have not

Pioneered anything radical in this area...
