I had the same problem. The blood really freaked me out because my doctor said there should be no more blood after the first week. Two months post op and I had a bright red discharge. There is something called....granulage tissue...spellcheck the word... anyway..its where the skin is trying to heal but isnt doing so well and it is building up.. or at least that is my understanding of it. That was where my blood was coming from. So you need to get in to the doctor. I had the tissue build up in both ears and required anti bacterials, anti inflammatories, and anti fungal creams being rubbed all over the innner parts of my ear. Good Luck.. hope your ears get better. Call your Doc, drainage is normal after a CWD or CWU

however it should be more clear than having a

color....

Hi All,

My c-toma has recurred 5 years after CWU surgery in 2003. One symptom I

have which I'd not heard of before is drainage, not via the ear canal,

but via the eustachian tube.

I wake every morning having spent the night drooling brown yukky stuff

and with a foul taste in my mouth. I don't smoke and only drink

occasionally, so this isn't morning-after mouth!

Does anybody else with c-toma suffer with this?

Thanks,

Garry

Probably had an abcess.  Happened to me but it was my belly button incision.  Keep an eye on it.  It should feel better in a day or so.  If not see your local doc

My drain wound had pretty much stopped draining, then yesterday afternoon I was sitting on the couch and it just started oozing, really oozing, like lots.

I got scared, called Gaby at Dr Aceves office she said it is normal, but I still think it is weird.

Has this happened to anyone else here?
