Guest guest
I had my first c-toma surgery today, and it went really well. Doc said that it was fairly extensive and probably about 8-10 years old. Overall I am feeling pretty well, as evidenced by my ability to update you. The canal wall was repaired, and he also repaired the eardrum. I only lost one of the bones (the mallus) and doc says that the stapes still has a " nice " curve in it, and he should be able to use it during the reconstruction which will be in about 8 months. Although I am feeling pretty good, I realize that I need my rest. Just wanted to take the time to give hope to others that may be going through, or about to go through the same thing - just as other members gave me hope and helped me to cope with the possibilities! Be well, and bright blessings to all! e~
