We had Hailey's 2 month (well almost...on the 23rd it is) post op check up

today.

Everything is still looking great!

At first my heart dropped because I thought he said that ear was a mess again.

She still had tons of infection after the surgery so at 2 weeks we were on

drops. I said something, I said did you say that ear looks bad or good.  He said

no it looks great.   (That's what I get for having a 4 year old on my lap, while

trying to listen to the doctor and being on little sleep!)

We've now had two months in a row with good news!

He said her left ear looks great and that at this point we are looking to have

our next surgery in 2-3 more months.

In 2 months we go back to the doctor and then they should schedule the surgery.

He said while looking at the left ear that the healing is going great, in

fact it doesn't even look like they had done surgery in there.

Anyway thought I'd share that we had good news again.  We don't go back to the

dr until October now, which is nice!  We'll go then and hopefully they will

schedule the surgery...at this point it looks like we may have her next surgery

before she's 5.  She's 5 in November so we shall see.

Anyway thanks to all for the advise, support prayers etc on here.  This has been

a great group to be a member of, it's very informative and great knowing that we

have support out there from other people going through this.

We're thinking of all of you
