Christmas dinner party - Childcare may become available for the evening.

Hi Everyone,

About the Christmas dinner party for the Mom's night out, I'm trying to get things worked out so that everyone has a chance to come.

In that respect, I'm working on a plan to have available childcare. I spoke with Barrie Galvin of the Galvin Center in Beachwood and she said they may be able to help us. (this will depend on available staffing as she is working a plan at this time.) This service will be sponsored by Galvin Education & Resource Center for Families (GERCF.)

The Galvin center is staffed with qualified occupational therapists that have worked with children with autism. (My son has been a client of The Galvin Center for over a year and I find the staff to be very supportive and friendly.) Barrie said that any parent who wishes to visit the Galvin Center before deciding about the childcare for that evening can visit the center prior to the day.

Being that the center is located in Beachwood it is in good interest to change the location of the Christmas dinner party to a restuarant nearby the Galvin center. The new location will be at The Olive Garden which is very close to the Center.

Both the Galvin Center and the Olive Garden are right off of 271, they are both easy to get to only one minute off of the exit for both places.
