Interesting! My last surgery was in August. On monday, my hearing

spontaneously came back. Now, the past 2 mornings, I have had the

same thing, thick gooey yellow/red/brown slime deep inside, some that

has drained out & crusted to my ear and pillow too. Now having mild

sharp stabbing pains in that ear. I've called my ENT's office a few

times this week and haven't heard back. I'd like to get it looked

at.

I went in today for another follow up and hearing test and he said it was normal for the bleeding and ear wax to come out like that, especially in the morning after its been all warmed up. He said it is part of the healing process. He also cleaned out the ear, and said it looked great. I still have shooting pains in the ear and it is normal, nothing you can really do about it. I also have TMJ and he said that is supposed to subside over the next few months. He said to allow 6 months for full recovery. Good luck!

Sheila, My phone calls last week were finally returned on monday

afternoon (3pm). It was the nurse asking which pharmacy I wanted my

meds called into. It seems my ENT was not even interested in looking

at the issue, he just wanted to toss meds at me. I told the nurse

that the drainage and pains quit on friday and i've been fine all

weekend. She said great, then I won't call in your RX's. That's

it. TG I have people in this group to talk to!!! I went in to have

my hearing aid adjusted today and requested a hearing test. It

showed improvements as well as some loss where I had hearing before.
