Numbness behind the ear

my doctor said it would take about 6 months for the numbness to go away - so I will see if he is right in about 3 more months.

Thanks. I'm now 12 months & 2 days post-op. Still numb.

Yes, it does go away. Mine took a very long time to go away

completely (I don't remember exactly, but it was probably close to a

year). I thought it was going to stay numb forever!

I've always wondered if we simply get so used to how it feels that we

think nothing of it. In any case ... six months is about right.
