Guest guest
Hey everyone, Update on Masie... she is doing very well. Doesn't complain much or ever really want to take meds. My question is, she hasn't had a lot of drainage from the ear, and while I am not complaining, I was just wondering if this was, per se, normal. Also, she prefers to keep the cotton ball in her ear and even when I take it out, there is very little " stuff " on it. And... she prefers to sleep with the ear cup thingy on. She slept without it on one night, rolled over on her ear and cried out in pain. So since then she has slept with it on. How long should I " let " her keep using the cotton balls and is it okay to keep using them as long as they are being changed daily or at least 2x's a day? With there not being a lot of drainage, I didn't see a problem with keeping it in there, but I didn't know if I needed to let her ear " air out " or not. Any advice or suggestions from those of you who have been through this longer than I have would be greatly appreciated. Thanks, Pam
