Hi Ctoma group. Glad to find you. I've had 2 removal surgeries with

the last one also receiving prosthetic bones. My hearing is not

restored. I now have a hole that will not heal & the prosthetic is

coming thru it. My ENT said I can go to a " super-specialist " if I

want to have the hole closed, otherwise just to leave the hole...

which offers drainage ability, like with tubes... but without the

plastic. Doc observed the hole and did a recheck 6 weeks later.

it's not healing and in fact, getting worse. He suggested to just

watch it and said to come back in a year. A YEAR???!!!!???!!! I'm

not comfortable with leaving it for a year. Also, it's unsettling bc

my ENT said that he was " freaked out " during my 2nd surgery, bc he

was able to see a lot more damage done by the Ctoma, that he could

not see in the first surgery due to swelling. I've learned that this

is due to chronic life-long infections (as indicated by amount of

scarring), so I've now turned to learning about prevention. I have

found that foods I've always eaten are causing the infections. I can

feel a bunch of fluid within hours after eating chicken, eggs, turkey

and milk. (I've always had hearing loss, never felt pain or

infections until after my surgeries.) Wondering if anyone else in

this group is taking a natural path to healing this problem.

WHAT HAVE YOU TRIED AND WHAT ARE YOUR RESULTS???

Currently, I have been taking Exsula " Premium " superfood for my multi-

vit, Exsula " Strata-Flora " for my probiotic and also

Exsula " EllagiPlex " to stop abnormal cell production. Since taking

these once daily, I have had no abnormal cell accumulation (per my

ENT who viewed thru the hole in my ear). A friend has also encouraged

me to use 35% food grade H2O2 (her family, with school-age kids,

hasn't been sick once in the 3 years they've used it)... so I began

that today as well.

anxious to hear from anyone. thanks
