Guest guest Posted January 17, 2008 Report Share Posted January 17, 2008 I am new to the group. I was diagnosed 2 and a half years ago with cholesteatomas in both ears. I have had one surgery on each side (CWU), and my hearing is as good as I can ever remember. After my last surgery my surgeon told me that my facial nerve was " swollen " and that it was likely a cyst or a benign tumor.
