Guest guest Posted January 21, 2008 Report Share Posted January 21, 2008 went to a local ent for a check up on my ear. Did hearing test and it was the usaul 45% lost right ear. He looks in my ear and I mention about my ctoma 6.5 yrs ago and then he said I had a classical sympton by looking into my right ear. I was floored. I did ask him to compare the result of hearing test 5 yrs earlier and it was pretty much the same. He wanted to redo my septum (?) nose straight and wait 6 weeks and take this ctoma out. When I questioned him further he kind backtrack some on ctoma statement. I ask for a CT. Went to my family doc and he looked at it and said it could be scar tissue from last surgery and the staff infection might left a mark, looks more like scar tissue than another ctoma. It was a white dot on upper drum. I really had no sympton with it except for ringing in my ears but I think that has alawys been with me.
