Guest guest Posted January 21, 2008 Report Share Posted January 21, 2008 Hi Maggie Back in 1999, I was scanned in the January and had to wait until the May (I think) for the results. Even then, my surgeon remarked "Fat lot of good that did!" meaning that they helped not an iota when it came to firm diagnosis. I then had surgery the following November to remove a large cholesteatoma. Sadly, there's little or nothing you can do about it - unless you're considering going private?
