recurrence of cholesteatoma

Hey everyone,

I've been going to UCSF medical center for treatment of my c-toma for

about two years now. At my most recent visit, I could feel that there's

something going on in my ear, mostly due to pain I could feel in my

inner ear. When I went for my visit, I was told that my ear was " clean "

however, I noticed some slight drainage about a week later.

I've decided to transfer my treatment to the California Ear Institute,

where I am now scheduled to see Dr. ph Roberson. I know that CEI is

well renowned (I had my tympanoplasty and mastoidectomy there when I

was 9, and my doctor is no longer practicing.) Given my past

experiences, I'm generally leery about seeing a new clinician. I was

just curious, has anyone had any experiences with Dr. Roberson in the

past?
