Hi. It's a great idea to take the results of your scan to another

doctor. I did the same thing and ended up with a great surgeon. Yes, it

can recurr. I had a second surgery 11 years after the first one. I also

had a doctor look at something on a cat scan 4 years ago and advise me

that it was not a recurrence and it did not need surgery. So it sounds

like you are doing the right thing. Good luck!
