I had my first surgery last June 2007. I was nervous when I heard the

word " Cloesteatoma " , to this day I get nervous when I hear the word.

My first surgery went well, I regained a little bit of my hearing back

for about a month. I continued to go for my check ups and on Jan 4th

2008 I was advised that I will need another surgery, the cloesteatoma

had returned. I followed all the guide lines that were set for me but

this problem occurred again. Is there any thing I should have or could

have done different to prevent this from happening to me again? I am

very nervous this time around. I feel as if I did something wrong that

caused this. I had a great Otolaryngologist but I also found out that

same day he was moving over 500 miles away. It seams as if the storm

keeps coming!

Thanks for this site to give me a place to vent.
