Guest guest
Dear Friend of ASO: Since school is starting, I just want to make you aware of a recent publication of the National Education Association (NEA) that the ASA had collaborated on. Entitiled "The Puzzle of Autism", it is intended as an introduction to ASD's for educators, and really is a quite well done publication. It was just put out earlier this year. To download a copy of the publication, visit: http://www.nea.org/specialed/images/autismpuzzle.pdfWhile you're visiting the site, there are many other valuable resources downloadable from the NEA - online tools for writing IEPs, info on assistive technology, IDEA guidelines in an understandable format - just to name a few. Visit: http://www.nea.org/specialed/nearesources-specialed.html FYI - be sure to share with your student's teachers, administrators and any one else! Sincerely, Barbara C.
