Guest guest Posted November 14, 2001 Report Share Posted November 14, 2001 Nut Roll 1 Box Graham Crackers (Crushed) 1 large jar cherries Drained (save the juice) and chopped 1 lb box raisins 2 cups chopped pecans 1 bag Marshmellows 1/2 stick margarine In large mixing bowl place first 4 ingredients and mix. Melt margarine and marshmellows and pour over first four ingredients. Mix well. This will be somewhat dry so now is the time for the cherry juice you saved. A little at a time add it to the mixture until all is wet with the marshmellows and cherry juice. Place 1/3 or the mixture in wax paper and form into roll. Repeat until all is formed into roll. I pack it pretty good. Place in refrigerator to cool. It is better if allowed to stand for a few days in refrigerator. Can now be sliced or given as a gift whole. After you make one of these you may want to double the recipe and use one box light raisins and one dark, one green cherry and one red. It seems to make it more festive.
