The ocean?? What are you doing on the ocean? Anyway, for motion sickness, which I get in abundance, I use ginger. I either suck a piece of it about the size of my thumbnail, or make ginger tea and sip on it throughout the time that I am in a moving vehicle. Works wonders!!

For motion sickness I make a blend that varies and may include:

Peppermint, Fennel, Lavender, Ginger

A blend of the eos of Peppermint and Lavender will also help if a

headache is part of the nausea.

I also like to make a spray that can be misted in a car etc.

Ginger tea- good to use ahead of time.

For children I make a Tummy Oil blend- nice for adults too that

contains Ginger, Chamomile, Mandarin, and Lavender- good for all sorts

of tummy upsets.

A good Chai Tea sipped may also help- plus it's delicious ;-)

Besides this if you can meet with an acupuncturist they can show you

the points and you can do the acupressure as needed yourself. Big help

;-)

Good luck ~

Hi Pam,

Best thing I know of is ginger. Ginger capsules or like suggested

some ginger tea to take with you or pieces of ginger.

Yes , Ocean sickness/salmon fishing, miles out there. I tend

to always have a heaving anytime feeling happening when I'm out

there. If someone else on the boat gets sick than I soon follow.

I'm constantly on the edge. I love to go out there and fish but

deeply dread what might happen.

Is eating prior to going out a no-no, and just do the 'ginger

thing' or are there foods to stay away from.

Pam

Thank - you !

Hi Pam,

If you are going to eat just make sure you eat something that you won't

mind coming back up if it does. I would suggest only raw vegetables or

fruit. Less acidity and grease that way. Not as likely to burn coming

back out. LOL
