My folks used that a lot on me when I was a kid and I have used it many times since becoming an adult. Very good stuff for drawing out anything. -- Peace, love and light, Don Quai " Spirit sleeps in the mineral, breathes in the vegetable, dreams in the animal and wakes in man. Beeswax 6 oz. olive oil + 3 quarts of olive oil to soak the herbs in. 2 oz. wheatgerm oil 1 pint Pine tar You could sub olive oil for the mutton tallow however you will have to play around with the proportions of beeswax in order to get the right consistency of a salve. You can either do the herbs in a crock pot on low for 6 to 8 hours or do it in the sun and allow the sun to infuse the herbs into the oil (this takes a minimum of two weeks). Your choice and depends on how fast you want it. Hope this helps. Peace be with you Beth. -- Peace, love and light, Don Quai " Spirit sleeps in the mineral, breathes in the vegetable, dreams in the animal and wakes in man. Is it a different kind of " -ol " ? > >Sharyn > > =--=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-= Hi Sharyn, Do not confuse Pine Tar with Pinesol. They are completely different substances. To the best of my knowledge and what I have researched on the net Icthammol never had Pine tar in it. It is made predominantly from pertroleum or coal based oils and has a very high sulphur content, which is why it was also touted as a cure for eczema. The ol in your Pinesol does not mean Pines-ol but Pine-sol(vent) as this product is supposed to dissolve grease and is tough on dirt etc, etc, etc. This it does due to its surfactents. Pinesol, Lysol are just spin doctor terminology. Usually the " -ol " at the end of a chemical name means this particular chemical is an alcohol or a phenol. Hope this clears it up some. -- Peace, love and light, Don Quai " Spirit sleeps in the mineral, breathes in the vegetable, dreams in the animal and wakes in man. Guest guest
Have you ordered or tried the MSM drops yet? http://www.kornax.com/Merchant2/MSM_Drops.htm > > > > Can this be put into the eye to draw out something? > > > Drawing Salve > > Â > > > > > Found a wonderful homeopathic salve, not sure about this infliction but for > sores, thorns, splinters, ect around the farm its good stuff. Guest guest
I answered my own question... this can't be used in the eyes... right at the end of description, avoid contact with eyes. Could be powerful for anything else on the skin. Swanson carries some awesome products. They used to be rather run of the mill, but now carry so many incredible things. Great customer service too... no I don't work with or for Swanson's. I just like products and services. Drawing Salve Found a wonderful homeopathic salve, not sure about this infliction but forsores, thorns, splinters, ect around the farm its good stuff. The best drawingsalve I have found.Smiles Pridhttp://www.swansonvitamins.com/HY119/ItemDetail?n=
Guest guest
Just from some short research and reading sound like the MSM will help not hurt dry eye. This seemed like a good resource. The eyes often reflect a larger problem that needs to be treated systemically. Certain nutrients such as vitamins A, C, D, E, & B6, Magnesium, GLA & DHA, Mucopolysaccharides & Tumeric may help ease chronic and severe dry eyes. http://www.naturaleyecare.com/diseases.asp?d_num=5 > > > > > > > > Can this be put into the eye to draw out something? > > > > > > Drawing Salve > > > >  > > > > > > > > > > Found a wonderful homeopathic salve, not sure about this infliction but for > > sores, thorns, splinters, ect around the farm its good stuff.
