Guest guest
Take pictures and/or go to a Dr. to get those rashes documented - they could be just what you need to get insurance approval on tummy tuck and boob jobs down the road! Then it would be medically necessary to stop getting those rashes! I sure wqish I would have documented mine!!!! Good luck, In a message dated 07/21/2002 6:45:13 PM Eastern Daylight Time, writes: > What about this rash under the boobs and the gut? Guest guest
is right!!! Take pictures of it at it's WORST. That was my key to have my TT approved as medically necessary. (will probably work for boob job if you get pictures of that rash as well.) good luck!!! Guest guest
Hey.. this is ...I had a horrible rash too. About 1-2 days after surgery. It started as irritation, then spread allover my genital area and underwear line, also under my belly. It was itchy, burny and awful. Dana says it is yeast. Monistat wouldn't help it because it was external. She wrote a perscription for a nystatin powder that kills yeast extenally and also a perscription for a 1 day vaginal yeast cream. I'm still fighting the rash. The powder helped some....but is still there. post-op 7/10 From: TeacherGator@... Guest guest
, You may need some Lotrisone which is a combination of cortisone and Lotrimin cream. It may also not be yeast. It could be a reaction to the solution that they cleaned your abdoment with. It could also be a rash from an adhesive barrier that may have been used to put over your skin prior to surgery. I'm not sure if Dr. R uses one of those or not. You may need to see your PCP to properly diagnose your rash and get the correct treatment to get rid of the problem....at least until you're closer to tummy tuck and boob job time!
