Guest guest
Gloria, there is a book available from amazon.com titled Alkalize or Die that lists the foods by group and rates them according to their alkaline/acid value. I don't remember the author's name. My daughter-in-law has my copy and she has found it very helpful. Deborah* > -=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-= Actually what I said was your body is too acidic. Not that you have too much acid in your body. Very different concept. Yes, I am quite sure that you will find it to be the answer to the myriad physical ailments you now suffer from. When the intestines get cleaned out then you will be able to begin removing the toxins from the tissues and organs. As they leave so will your symptoms, pain and other ailments. Just remember that your body is going to need to rebuild and repair itself along the way to you are going to want to give it the necessary tools and materials it needs. This means organic minerals and vitamins that can only come from plants. The best way to obtain them is from juicing. Second best is to eat lots of fresh organic (if possible) green leafy veggies and fresh organic fruits. All fruits and veggies should predominate in your diet. Grains, nuts and seeds should be in a smaller proportion and always sprouted. Eating raw provides your body with all the necessary enzymes needed to digest the food you eat and the necessary organic minerals needed for rebuilding and repairing tissues and organs. -- Peace, love and light, Don Quai " Spirit sleeps in the mineral, breathes in the vegetable, dreams in the animal and wakes in man. Guest guest
No popcorn won't do it Deborah.. You're not getting what Don is saying...popcorn, etc won't get your body the necessary enzymes it needs, nor minerals to repair and rebuild Your body is craving but you're not hearing it... Remember, you didn't get to where you are overnite... it was years of bad habits.. a few days will not cure what took years to happen to you... but you will start to see results if you start changing your eating habits. I get this need to be chewing something crunchy. Eating carrots, peppers and so forth don't take care of it. What can I munch on that will take care of this? Dry popcorn? Dehydrate some bananas. Or soak some nuts overnight and then dehydrate them. Popcorn is okay for crunchieness but most out there is GM. Blanch yourself some potatoes (sliced thinly of course) in salty water with your choice of herbs added into the water and then dehydrate the potatoes. They will be crunchy and much better for you than prepackaged potatoe chips. They also make for an awesome soup. No I don't cook anymore but I used to and this was how I stored my potatoes in Arizona. Then in the winter months I made soup out of them. Yummy. -- Peace, love and light, Don Quai " Spirit sleeps in the mineral, breathes in the vegetable, dreams in the animal and wakes in man.
