Kashi cereals (the high fiber ones) are great in getting our fiber - believe it or not 2 years out from MGB (only 1 1/2 ft bypassed) I need help going to the bathroom! LOL I do take the citricel and wheat germ but still need this! ALso Dr R has sent many many articles about the benefits of fiber with our tummys. So a plus there as well. Guest guest
Hi Betty, I know several people who rely heavily on Kashi. In fact, in Woman's World magazine in the past couple of weeks there is a " diet " that along with supplements, etc. advocates a bowl of Kashi at night before you go to bed - giving your body something to " work on " during the night and keep your metabolism going. I have to admit my husband and I both loved the Kashi bars before surgery and I guess I have just been afraid of the sugar - yet I eat other sugar and it doesn't bother me. I think I will have to give them a try again. I hope you had wonderful luck with your surgeries this last time. I know that Reuben and have remodeled and the ranch and added on. Don't know if I will be visiting them or not - I am awaiting approval for my surgeries here and am still hopeful to have them covered by my insurance. Take care, > re: cathy's confession > > > > > > > > > > > > Hi , > > > > > > > > You are too funny! I understand your desire for the > bars. Guest guest
Hi , I plan to go back to Costa Rica next spring or early summer. I'm still recovering from my last trip, but doing very well. Enjoy the Kashi bars. There are many testimonials on the internet site about wt. loss with using Kashi. Good luck with the insurance approval. I hope you get your approval. Sounds like many have been successful! Blessings! Guest guest
lol....Yep, I meant hot coffee. We have a smaller water heater that makes just enough hot water for my husband's 10 oz coffee mug and 6 oz for me. I make coffee in a French press and then pour it in our mugs. Since it takes 35 minutes to heat the water in a 12 volt appliance, I can't wait for another batch of water just to make my little cereal. I go ahead and use the coffee as my "water" in the cereal. I love the flavour. annh My Weight Loss Journal: The Little Bowl -- Re: Kashi Did you really mean 'hot coffee' or hot water? fireangel
