Guest guest
Hi all, I took pondimin and adipex (phen/fen) for 3 years. I have had two echo's five years apart. I have had no heart valve damage. But I suspect that I had damage to my serotonin receptors and I sware that my memory, oral language, and creativitiy were impacted by the extended use of the drugs. Additionally every time I tried to quit the pondimin (fenfluramine) I went through a horrible withdrawl. The first time I quit, I couldn't stop crying for 3 days and I felt nauseated and achey. I imagine it was similar to a herion addict withdrawl but much less severe. I was almost suicidal it was so bad. In the time I was on the drugs I began stuttering, forgetting words-- all sorts of odd and bad things. The stuttering is mostly gone but my conversation skills are markedly different. I have a claim with AHP for the cost of prescriptions only. I saw someone post about neurological/psychological assessment and I would love to hear from this person. Hope all is well, in DC _________________________________________________________________ Join the world’s largest e-mail service with MSN Hotmail. http://www.hotmail.com
