Guest guest
, Glad to hear you are better! A trip to the Hospital due to migraine or seizures related to migraine is bad news. Weird though... i havent been online this week until now because i had a migraine from Monday afternoon thru last night. I finally woke up without one this morning. I've pretty much been a zombie all week myself, so i can totally relate (to everything bu the seizure. DH came down with one too Tuesday - he wasnt sure if it was real or just sympathy. I tried PP Monday and Tuesday, with no affect whatsoever, and i think my was not chemical but physical (AKA i need an adjustment too!) Anyway one thing i tried that did bring some comfort and relief during the peak... In addition to icing my neck, i had DH put some " Traumeel " on my neck and jaw where the majority of the pain was coming from. My theory was the Traumeel is for inflamtion and pain, and the migraine was from stress and the gel reduced the inflamation in my neck and jaw and also had some soothing properties. It worked, It reduced the intensity of the pain to where i could at least try to rest. I would have used Arnica Gel, but we couldnt find it. Anyway, baby yourself today, even though you feel better..migraines are nasty and sneaky and have a way of creeping back in the first 24 to 36 hours. Sylvia > I'm still not sure. Could be that my neck needs adjusting, or the flourescent lights in both of my work places (and our home kitchen as well), could be stress. Or all three. My diet has been pretty good. Raw, fruits/veggies/nuts, lots of water for the most part, fresh juiced apple juice. No alcohol, cigarettes (I don't smoke anyway, but also try to not be around when someone else is smoking), no sugar or unsprouted grains, very little salt (only what is present in the food I eat). > > Maybe it was just my time to have one. > > Oh, one good thing. I woke up this morning feeling GREAT!!! And, I had a flying dream right before I woke up. I always feel good after one of those. I love them! > > Thank you for your encouragement and concern!! > >
Guest guest
Well that might be totally true for because i had that problem when we lived in San Diego as the mold problem could jump from one day to the next depending on humidty etc and I beleive is in one of those areas. There have been drastic temp changes here, and we are in monsoon season (YAEH!) but this is the desert and ANY preciptation we get is quicky absorbed by Everything and then GONE! Mold while possible, is unlikely. I really think mine was skelital or physical rather than chemical imbalance (which would include mold) My stress levels have been very high due to work and finances and i have a tendacy to drit or grind the teeth (TMJ) now that things are tapering off, and i spent the last few days papmering/aromatherapy, etc. i am feeling a bit more relaxed. But again...awesome fact to point out, because i know that one to be true. See what happens when you don't get on line with us...rofl... sorry I couldn't help myself... i'm glad you're feeling better... > > which brings up an interesting question... where you and are.... has the weather been crazy... hot and cold, barometric pressure changes... etc... sometimes (so I was told long ago) that major changes in weather conditions day to day or so can sometimes trigger a migraine especially in areas with high mold/allergen counts... now I don't know how true this is... an old professor told me this years ago... it just popped up in my brain with your post after 's episode. > > Suzi > > > > __________________________________________________ >
