Guest guest
Hello Sylvia, IMO, this puppy has a parasitic overload...probably hooks. While herbs are wonderful if there is time but from the symptoms that you describe, time is not on your side. Of course building up the immune system is important and you should continue to concentrate on that, you must look at the dog's diet what he is eating now and before you got him and what the dam was fed, etc. If you are feeding out of the bag and/or can, you should probably investigate a more species appropriate diet. Parasites can do immeasurable harm, quickly. Cash or not, I would take a stool sample to the vet and get a chemical wormer at that time if that is the problem, which I believe it is. Try to avoid the vet giving any additional treatments, such as vaccinations. Just tell him that the pup is up to date. The vaginal discharge is vaginitis which is not all that rare but usually goes away on its own as the pup gets healthier. This is usually seen in pups eating commercial dog food.
