Hi,

This is Arnold.  A few days ago, I sent the message below, a solicitation

of couples to participate in a film documenting pregnancy and child birth.  In

the original email, I left out one scenario.  In addition to documenting a dwarf

couple and a couple that consists of one little person and one non-little

person, the filmmaker would like to document a little person who is pursuing

adoption.

Again, if you are interested, contact the filmmaker --Gayle Kirschenbaum --

gayle@...

Thanks,

Subject: Recruitment for film documenting pregnancy

Hi,

this is Arnold, the Public Relations Person for Little People of America.

I have been approached by a woman named Gayle Kirschenbaum.  She is a filmmaker

and producer for a company that carries her name, Kirschenbaum Productions,

LLC.  She approached LPA because she is developing a film for the Discovery

Channel that will document the pregnancies of two women.

Under the plan proposed by the filmmaker, one woman would be a part of a

relationship in which both partners are people of short stature, and one woman

would be a part of a relationship in which one person is a dwarf, and one is

average size.  The film would document the pregnancies of the women en route to

motherhood.

In addition to correspondance with me, the filmmaker has been in touch with a

member of LPA's medical advisory board and a member of LPA who is an advocate

and an author.  Both are encouraged about the project and feel it would be an

opportunity to send positive and honest messages about parenthood as it relates

to the dwarfism community.

If  this sounds like something you'd like to learn more about, or get involved

with, please feel free to contact me or the filmmaker directly.

The filmmaker is Gayle Kirschenbaum -- gayle@....

Thanks,

Arnold
