Numb fingers+dead left arm+burning shoulder = C6 Neck Compression

Hi everyone,

Yes, this is my problem. Numb fingers, achey burning arm and

shoulder, and stiff tense tender neck. It's going on 5 yrs now and

with pain management (Vicodin, Naproxin, Flexeril, Lyrica, traction,

injections, soft collar) I've decided to take the route for surgery.

(While I still have insurance and a job!!)

I've left a msg. with Dr. McKenzie's nurse to have him phone me to

talk about local surgeons who do necks. I know I'm right at the very

beginning with this dialogue and I'm being super patient. I'm in no

rush and I plan to talk more with people in Brooklyn.

My immediate questions are has surgery worked? Who's had it? Are

you happy with the results. Was it a fusion? Are you limited with

range of motion?

Any help/feedback would be appreciated.
