Guest guest
Hi Steph, Here are 2 people you might want to contact: 1. Dee , Senior Program Clinical Coordinator of the Greenberg Center for Skeletal Dysplasias at s Hopkins in Baltimore, could probably recommend a neurologist in the local area. She can be reached at (410) 614-0977. She is also on the LPA Medical Advisory Board. Here a few websites for her: http://www.hopkinsmedicine.org/geneticmedicine/Clinical_Resources/Skeletal_Dyspl\ asia/index.html http://www.lpaonline.org/mc/page.do?sitePageId=44395 & orgId=lpa 2. Dr. e Rigamonti with s Hopkins in Baltimore is a neurosurgeon who has operated on many people with achondroplasia. You can reach his office at (410) 955.2259. He performed a lumbar laminectomy on me in '95 with great results. There are others on this list who have also had surgery performed by him. Here are a few websites with info about him: http://www.hopkinsneuro.org/brain_tumor/doc.cfm/expert/e_Rigamonti http://hopkinsneuro.org/team_member.cfm/expert/e_Rigamonti http://hopkinsneuro.org/cv/e_Rigamonti_CV_Aug07.pdf http://www.radonc.jhmi.edu/faculty/dr_rigamonti.html I hope this helps.
