I am seeing an ear, nose and throat surgeon for the past 6 months. He cleans out my ears (I have cholesteatoma in the right ear). So far I really like visiting him. His name is Jerry Halik. He was recommended by another ENT that I was seeing. Located at 377 church st. suite 202 in Markham. Phone number 905-472-7123.

I have had 2 surgeries for a cholesteatoma.First was radical mastoidectomy...second one was cleaning it out again...I went for 2 years every month having the infection suctioned out..(hated that)...Now I have not had it suctioned for years and I still have the drainage. My eye surgeon has retired and am now looking for another one in the City of Toronto...Does anyone have any recommendations???

Thanks for sharing your experiences with us. Please remember, however, that the readership of this group is all over the world (I am in UK) and we are not all in the US, therefore have no knowledge of US or Canada-based places even though we may be interested.

Thanks in anticipation,

Bern

Thank you Tariq.....I also wanted to know do you have to have surgery every time the ear gets infected....As I find the surgery really awful...Has anyone had their ears dry ...and how was that treated.
