Your message reminds me of how I felt when my achon son was that age. Lonely

and worried about the future. You will meet more and more LPs, especially if

you attend some LPA events. I agree, though, TV can be very discouraging to

watch, I used to get quite pissed over how most LPs were portrayed. Eventually,

though, your own child's development matters most. My son is 21 now and a

junior in college and in a nice relationship with an LP woman, has plenty of

friends, is an optimistic guy, as happy as anybody else in this world. I

remember that it seems daunting....I will tell you then it turned out his

younger brother was autistic, and I realized what a mountain we'd made out of a

molehill . There is no reason, other than whatever physical issues come her

way, that she can't, with your help, grow into a healthy and happy adult. All

I haven't posted on here for...years. My little one is only 6 and I didn't

have questions for a long time. A lot has happened with her. Most recently she

had her left leg straightened. Just had her cast taken off a week ago. But she's

doing great. She just said to me this morning, " I don't see many LP in life. "

Just a very matter of fact statement. LOL. On those rare occations when she does

see one seh says. " Good. Now I know I'm not the only one. " kInda breaks my

heart. We don't have any one even remotely close to us. New Mexico. But I have

promised her we will get to at least one of the AZ chapter events.

Yesterday she happened to catch an episode of The Cape with and I. Now

she has a crush on Klebba! Too cute! I love that she's seen a LP in a

good role and likes it, but, I would like to show her others. Especially some

females. Any one know of any I can look up for her? I know I had heard of one a

while ago that was on a show about lawers but I don't remember. If any one can

give me names that's great.
