Guest guest
Hi, everyone. Today I found out that my 5 year old son has a c-toma in his right ear. Found out last week that he has moderate hearing loss. Surgery has been scheduled. I was surpised that it is out-patient surgery. Is that the norm? I would feel more comfortable with healthcare professionals watching him through the night. Also, if you have young children, please let me know what your experience has been with recovery, i.e., how long before they could go back to school. The doctor told me no " rough-housing " for at least 3 weeks, so I'll definitely have to isolate him from his twin brother.
